Kane Helps Reno Outscore Tacoma
Aces third baseman Bob Kane left his mark on his team's 11-10 win over the Tacoma Rainiers. Kane, who is tied for 2nd in the PC with a .456 on-base percentage, was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Reno in the contest. Reno reliever José Morales picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Hugh Herring was saddled with the loss. The loss puts Tacoma at 13-15.

Luis Álvarez was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Reno. The 28-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 10-10 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Edgardo Leon. It was his 20th RBI of the season.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Álvarez told the Reno Times.
