The performance of Greg Lópes proved critical in helping Omaha beat Iowa, 10-7. The Storm Chasers center fielder went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Iowa now has a record of 12-13.

With Omaha trailing 7-6 in the bottom of the fifth, Lópes hit a changeup from Ken Wilkinson for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Storm Chasers ahead, 8-7.
