Fresno Beats Tacoma, 6-4

The Fresno Grizzlies topped the Tacoma Rainiers, 6-4, with designated hitter Bob Petersen playing a big role. Petersen was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Grizzlies in the win. After losing, Tacoma is 8-9.
Petersen had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 fastball from António Cruz, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Grizzlies a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Petersen.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Petersen told the Fresno Herald.
