The rain came, as predicted, but the Round Rock Express and Omaha Storm Chasers were able to complete their ballgame.

The Round Rock Express got a strong performance from pitcher Mike Miller, who stymied the Omaha offense en route to a win, 6-2, at Dell Diamond. Omaha is 8-9 after the defeat.

Joe Sherman hit a 2-run triple off Ken Walker in the bottom of the first, which put the Express in front, 2-1. Sherman had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Express manager Ben Petrick. "This one was nice to get."
