3-1 Win Sends Oklahoma City to 8-5

Rob Armstrong pitched well, but his team, the Omaha Storm Chasers, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Oklahoma City Dodgers at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Kelyn Jose came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Dave Powell locked down his 3rd save.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but José Fierro didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Omaha trailing 3-1, Fierro retired Eric Cooper to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Fierro, with a wink.
The loss puts Omaha at 6-7.
