Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Sacramento River Cats were eager to watch Jorge Arroyo square off against Lúcio Pérez of the visiting Reno Aces. In the end, the Aces won the game, 8-1, with Lúcio Pérez leading the way.
