Binghamton got a big-time effort from pitcher Rudy Alexander, but it wasn't enough to keep the Harrisburg Senators from winning the game, 2-1. Alexander threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Sean Wilson closed the door for Harrisburg, picking up his 12th save of the year. The Senators go to 20-33 with the win.

Ted Dickinson helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Senators.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Chris Tremie.
