Erie Downs Reading, 3-1
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Erie SeaWolves and the Reading Fightin Phils, Stu Palmer, who is tied for 5th in the EL in wins with 5, was the difference-maker. The Erie left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Dylan Nash nailed down his 11th save. The Southern Division-leading SeaWolves are 32-18.
J.J. Cortini had a direct impact on the outcome. Cortini contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Erie up, 2-1.
