Richmond shortstop Manny Gómez picked up 5 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Reading Fightin Phils, 9-8. With the win, Richmond raised its record to 25-25.

Richmond needed the clutch hitting of Raúl Orosco to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flying Squirrels on top, 9-8. For the game, Orosco had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Gómez.
