Starting pitcher Mitch Galloway fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the New Britain Rock Cats stymie the Trenton Thunder, 3-2. The win puts New Britain at 25-23 this season.

Raúl Flores was the walk-off hero for New Britain. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rock Cats catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Put a star next to this win," Flores said.
