The Bowie Baysox and Altoona Curve delighted fans at People's Natural Gas Field.

The Bowie Baysox could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Sam Foster into a win. Instead, the Altoona Curve prevailed, 7-1. Foster came in in relief and pitched to 21 batters. Bruno Dennis stitched up the save, his 2nd.

Stan Marshall drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate for Altoona. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Elvis Casey. It was his 7th walk of the season.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Marshall.

The win for the Curve raised their record to 27-20.
