Altoona beat Bowie in a rain-soaked ballgame.
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 26-year old right fielder Ken McGill, the Altoona Curve defeated the Bowie Baysox, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Tim Gray. His record now stands at 3-1. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits for the Curve. Stan Martínez wrapped it up, recording his 10th save.
