Montalvo Now 3-4 After Beating Fisher Cats
|
It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.
Trenton Thunder starter Juan Montalvo worked his magic, to help his team defeat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 2-1. Ed Raines earned the save, his 4th.
Montalvo threw well for Trenton, thwarting the New Hampshire offense. The right-hander tossed 122 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 2 hits.
"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Montalvo.
The win elevated the Thunder to 24-14.
