Richmond got a terrific performance from pitcher José Rocha, but it wasn't enough to beat the Harrisburg Senators. Harrisburg won the Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium contest, 4-1. Rocha threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Michal Bauerewski snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Aurelio Soriano suffered the loss. The Harrisburg winning streak has reached 3 games.

Pat Fitzpatrick came through with a big-time hit for Harrisburg. The third baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"What we get, we earn," Fitzpatrick told the Harrisburg Bulletin.
