The Erie SeaWolves downed the Reading Fightin Phils, 3-0, at FirstEnergy Stadium. Erie pitcher Juan Vázquez had a scintillating performance. In 6.1 innings, Vázquez surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Chuck Parsons saved it for Erie.
