Almost There: Iowa On Cusp of Round 2 Triumph After 8-7 Win
The Fresno Grizzlies got 2 home runs from left fielder Devin Jones but failed to take Game 4 of the Round 2 from the Iowa Cubs. In a nice performance, Jones hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice but Iowa took the game by a score of 8-7 and now lead the best-of-7 series, 3-1.

Jamie Westbrook broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the fifth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Cubs in front, 2-1. For the game, Westbrook went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Westbrook.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chukchansi Park in Fresno.
