Baltimore (DSL) Breaks Through for First Win in League Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading New York N (DSL) Mets 1, winning 11-3 at New York Mets Complex today. Orioles 1 catcher Greg McAllister was 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win cuts the deficit facing the Orioles 1 to 2-1 in the best-of-7 League Series.

Kip Larsen, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Larsen contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Baltimore (DSL) up, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," McAllister told the Baltimore (DSL) Observer. "It's as simple as that."
