Rumbo, Shorebirds Take Dramatic Game 3 for 2-1 Series Lead
The Delmarva Shorebirds nearly wasted a strong game from starter António Rumbo, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 11th inning walk-off win over the Greenville Drive today.

Rumbo pitched well in the 3-2 win at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The win allowed Delmarva to seize a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 Round 2.

The Arthur W. Perdue Stadium crowd went wild in the bottom of the seventh when Kip Larsen won the game for Delmarva with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. Larsen drove in one run in the contest.

"That was fun but I'll be happy with a nice, safe win next time," Delmarva manager Tripp Keister said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury.
