Raucous Fluor Field at the West End Crowd Propels Drive to 4-2 Victory; Series Tied at 1
Behind a bravura effort from starter Keizo Murakami, the Greenville Drive topped the Delmarva Shorebirds by the score of 4-2 and got their first win in the 2024 Round 2. Murakami threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the Drive. The win moves Greenville into a 1-1 tie with Delmarva.

Sam Robbins dealt the Shorebirds a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Greenville leading 1-0, Robbins, the 27th overall pick in the 2021 draft, hit a 1-0 sinker for a 2-run double.

"We did a lot of things right," said Murakami.

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury.
