BlueClaws Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-1
The Lakewood BlueClaws got a strong performance from pitcher Ronny Fermin, who stymied the Savannah offense en route to a 2-1 win in Game 4 of the Round 2 today. The Sand Gnats could never get a bead on the right-handed Fermin, who threw 6.1 innings allowing 1 runs. The BlueClaws now hold a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Greg Morgan's at-bat in the bottom of the third was significant for the BlueClaws. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Lakewood trailing 1-0, the BlueClaws first baseman hit a sacrifice fly.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Morgan said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at First Energy Park in Lakewood.
