Round Rock Overcomes 2 HRs from López, Tops Iowa in Extras for 2-1 Series Lead
When the games really matter, the Round Rock Express put on their best show, beating the Iowa Cubs by a final score of 7-6. Miguel Angel López slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Round Rock now leads Iowa 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Round Rock. That's when José Villarreal hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Quentin Bixler to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We lost," Iowa manager Gera Alvarez said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
