66ers Clip JetHawks, 4-3, in R1 Contest

With first baseman Dave Oliver leading the charge, the Inland Empire 66ers got a road win over the Lancaster JetHawks, 4-3, in Game 2 of the Round 1. Oliver was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 at The Hanger to help Inland Empire force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
José Morales hit a 2-run triple off Otton van Rey in the top of the ninth, which put the 66ers in front, 4-3. Morales had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 3.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Inland Empire manager Kent Matthes.
The next game is set to be played for Sunday, September 14th , 2025 at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino.
