New York N (DSL) Sweeps into the League Series
It's a sweet sweep for the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 and they have won the Division Series. The Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue were not able to keep pace with the Mets 1 and dropped the series in short order, losing 4-3 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Houston 1 (DSL) manager Ryan Christenson.

It's now on to the League Series for New York N (DSL) after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was right fielder Dan Cartwright, who was named MVP. For the series, Cartwright hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 - Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 series. Baltimore (DSL) leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
