The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 started the Division Series in style today, winning on the road against the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue at Houston Astros Complex Orange by a score of 5-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Mets 1 center fielder Daron Bishop excelled. He went 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles.

New York N (DSL) took the lead in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Pete Crawford stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Mets 1.

"I like winning," Crawford told the New York N (DSL) Herald. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
