Guardians Turn Away Brewers, 8-6
The Cleveland (DSL) Guardians topped the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers, 8-6, with first baseman Curt Sorensen playing a big role. Sorensen was 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs for the Guardians in the win. Cleveland (DSL) reliever Edmundo Álvarez got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Yasunari Kato was tagged with the loss. Cleveland (DSL) goes to 36-30, Milwaukee (DSL) to 35-31.

Early in the game, Sorensen had a bases-clearing triple for Cleveland (DSL). It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Guardians on top, 7-4.
