Reed Powers Royals Offense
The Kansas City (DSL) Royals beat the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers, 11-7, at Kansas City Royals Complex. The Royals got a fine performance from shortstop Jim Reed, who was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Luis Martínez. He tossed 112 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits. Edgardo Méndez earned the save, his 1st.
