Houston 1 (DSL) third baseman Mike Muñóz contributed to his team's 7-2 win over the Cincinnati (DSL) Rojos. Muñóz, who is tied for 9th in the DSL with a .711 slugging percentage, went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Astros Blue. José Salinas earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. His record is now 2-0. Houston 1 (DSL) is looking good at 52-15.

With Houston 1 (DSL) leading 4-0 in the top of the eighth, Muñóz came up to bat against Cincinnati (DSL) pitcher Rob Miller. Muñóz hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 18th home run of the season put the Astros Blue on top, 7-0.
