Pitcher Oliver Salcido was rock solid in helping the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks beat the Texas 2 (DSL) Rangers 2, 4-0. Salcido, the winner, moves to 5-2. He threw 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 3 walks.

The Diamondbacks picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
