Erwin Powers Reds to 5-3 Win
Not everyone stuck through the 67-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The timely hitting of Steve Erwin helped the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds down the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers, 5-3. Erwin went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Reds. Aurelio Gobbi, credited with the save, is now 10 for 16 in save opportunities.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the sixth when Erwin hit a grand slam home run. It propelled the Reds into the lead, 5-1.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Cincinnati (DSL) manager Jimmy Alvarez.

Cincinnati (DSL) raised its record to 37-28 with the win.
