Though the conditions were not ideal, the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays and Texas 2 (DSL) Rangers 2 came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays got a stellar performance from pitcher Tomás Donungo, who handcuffed the Texas 2 (DSL) offense en route to a win, 9-2, at Pittsburgh Pirates Complex. Donungo got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Donungo allowed 2 runs.

Pepe Ortega tagged a home run off Robby Smith in the top of the fifth. His 2-run blast put the Blue Jays on top, 4-2. In all, Ortega had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Donungo.

The Blue Jays go to 25-39 with the win.
