Blue Jays Get Plucky, 7-6 Win Over Pirates 1
The Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1 got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Oglethorpe, but the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays still won the game, 7-6. Oglethorpe threw 5.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The win went to Tomás Donungo in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Evandro Estcio took the loss. Toronto (DSL) raised its record to 32-30 with the win.

Pancho Rodríguez was the walk-off hero for Toronto (DSL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Jays left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We kept coming at guys," Toronto (DSL) manager Edwin Encarnacion said. "We kept digging."
