Nationals Lose By a Run at New York N (DSL)
The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 knocked off the Washington (DSL) Nationals, 6-5, in Dominican Rookie League action at New York Mets Complex. New York N (DSL) pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Luis Manuel Venegas had an outstanding performance. Washington (DSL) has now lost 5 straight.

The Mets 1 got a big at-bat from first baseman Luis Montoya. For the game, Montoya went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
