The Detroit (DSL) Tigers handed the Chicago N (DSL) Cubs a 4-3 defeat at Detroit Tigers Complex. Center Fielder Tony Bruno starred for Detroit (DSL). He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a triple. Today's win puts Detroit (DSL) at 38-23, while Chicago N (DSL) falls to 26-35.

Jesús Ruíz had a big 2-run double for the Tigers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Detroit (DSL) leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Alec Weber and swatted a double to center. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tigers ahead, 3-0.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Chicago N (DSL) manager Andy Haines.
