Rays Rally Late to Nip Marlins

The Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays knocked off the Miami (DSL) Marlins, 4-3, at Academia de Prospecto Complex. Jeremy Barraclough was a big reason Tampa Bay (DSL) won. The second baseman was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. Walt James, 2-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Tampa Bay (DSL) is now 40-21, Miami (DSL) 19-42.
Tim Rice, who is tied for 6th in the DSL in runs scored with 52, had a direct impact on the outcome. Rice contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Tampa Bay (DSL) up, 4-3.
