Marlins Suffer 9-8 Home Loss
The Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays topped the Miami (DSL) Marlins, 9-8, in Dominican Rookie League action at Academia de Prospecto Complex. The game was highlighted by the performance of Tampa Bay (DSL) right fielder Dave O'Fogarty. Picking up the win was Ben Flint. He went 8 innings, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 8 and walked 2. Pepe Rodríguez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when O'Fogarty hit a run-scoring double off Eric Bass. It propelled the Rays into the lead, 1-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Rays manager Jesus Sucre. "We came out swinging the bats."
