Las Palmas Complex was the site of a competitive game between the DSL Dodgers and DSL Blue Jays.

DSL parlayed a decent outing from starter Luis Ayala into a solid win over the DSL Dodgers. The final score was 4-2. Jesús Otero, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.

DSL used the hitting of Tommy Yates to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 3-0. For the game, Yates had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Yates.

With the victory, the Blue Jays upped their record to 27-16.
