DSL third baseman Tomás Lemus contributed significantly to his team's 5-1 win over the DSL Guardians. Lemus went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Astros. The Astros, now 27-20, know that wins in September count the same as wins in September.

Lemus had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from David Ortíz, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Astros a 5-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Lemus.

"I loved our energy," said DSL manager Matt Summers. "I loved the way we played."
