The Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers weathered an outstanding game by New York N 2 (DSL) third baseman José Ruíz to topple the Mets 2, 6-3. Ruíz went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles. With the win over New York N 2 (DSL), the Dodgers improved to 25-32.

Los Angeles (DSL) took a 3-2 lead on A.J. Streeter's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Streeter hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York N 2 (DSL) pitcher Carlos Hanson visibly frustrated.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Streeter.
