Victory Pushes Blue Jays Record to 29-27
Starting pitcher Ignacio Benítez had a solid game. He was a big reason the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays throttled the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers, 6-2. Tomás Donungo, who is tied for 10th in the DSL in holds with 4, nailed down the save. The 4th-place Blue Jays have won 4 straight games.

Sean McQueen had a big grand slam home run for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Toronto (DSL) leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Robbie Mueller and swatted a home run to left. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 5-0.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Benítez said.
