Aguirre goes 2-3 in DSL Win
Esteban Aguirre was a major contributor to the 3-0 DSL win over DSL. The Nationals designated hitter threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Aguirre got the win, improving to 2-3. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. Ignacio Rodríguez picked up the save for DSL, his 1st of the year.

Making an impact for DSL was second baseman Merlin Bolam. He drilled a triple off Horst de Zeeuw in the top of the fourth. For the game, Bolam went 1-4 with a triple.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Bolam told the DSL Chronicle. "Whatever it takes."

With the win, the Nationals are 13-26.
