Martínez, Marlins March to 4-2 Victory
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 19-year old right fielder Rubén Martínez, the DSL Marlins stopped the DSL Cubs, 4-2. The setback makes DSL 29-24.

Martínez had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 slider from Steve Hood, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Marlins a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Martínez.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Martínez told the DSL Chronicle. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
