The Miami (DSL) Marlins knocked off the New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2, 8-0, in Dominican Rookie League action at New York Yankees Complex. Miami (DSL) pitcher and Santiago, Dominican Republic, native Juan Valdéz had an outstanding performance. Even with the win, the Marlins have a dismal 17-35 record.
