Altoona and Erie duked it out and the Curve came out victorious.

The Altoona Curve beat the Erie SeaWolves, 6-3, at Jerry Uht Park. Altoona first baseman Bob Bishop had an outstanding performance. He was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. Stan Martínez earned the save, his 7th, for the Curve.

José Hernández hit a run-scoring triple off Jesús Árias in the top of the seventh, which put the Curve in front, 4-3. In addition to the triple, Hernández had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Bishop.

Erie drops to 16-9.
