New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2 starter Shaun Gill found his groove in his team's 6-2 win over the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox. The Yankees 2 bumped their record to 28-22 with this win.

With one out in the bottom of the first, Steve Doherty had a chance to do some damage. Chicago A (DSL) was trailing 3-0, but had the bases loaded. Doherty came to the plate against Shaun Gill, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Chicago A (DSL) comeback.
