Not everyone stuck through the 16-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

DSL turned a good effort from starter César Sánchez into a win over the DSL Rockies at Baseball City Complex. The Diamondbacks won the game, 5-1. The Diamondbacks improved their record to 17-25 by beating DSL.

Danny Sellers dealt the Rockies a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and DSL leading 2-1, Sellers hit a 2-2 sinker for a run-scoring single.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Pedro Mega.
