Dodgers Fall, 7-5, to Crouch, Marlins
The Miami (DSL) Marlins relied on the hitting of third baseman Sandy Crouch to stop the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers, 7-5. For the game, Crouch went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Pancho Jaca snagged the win in relief. In 2.2 innings, the right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. The save was credited to Ken Patrick, his 8th.

Crouch came through for Miami (DSL) with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. He hit a 2-2 fastball to right-center field, staking his team to a 7-4 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Crouch told the Miami (DSL) Daily News.

At 17-28, the Marlins claim last place in the Boca Chica North Division.
