Miami (DSL) center fielder Daniel Yan contributed significantly to his team's 9-3 win over the Cincinnati (DSL) Rojos. Yan went 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Marlins. The Marlins go to 13-30 with the win.

Miami (DSL) used the hitting of Sergio Reigosa to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Marlins on top, 5-0. For the game, Reigosa had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Solid performance from our side," said Marlins manager Raymond Nunez.
