Royals Suffer Humbling Defeat
Baltimore (DSL) first baseman Mauro Cobian had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Kansas City (DSL) Royals, 14-3. Chris Moran got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 10 and walking 3. Baltimore (DSL) is now 20-19, while Kansas City (DSL) is 19-20.

With Baltimore (DSL) leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Cobian hit a cutter from Eric Matthews for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Orioles 2 ahead, 5-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cobian told the Baltimore (DSL) Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
