Benefiting from Dan Mason's productive game, the Minnesota (DSL) Twins downed the Texas 2 (DSL) Rangers 2, 16-3. Mason belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 7 for the Twins. The winner in relief was Alfredo Romero. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1. The Twins, now 24-10, have won 4 in a row.

In the bottom of the second, Mason had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Steve Hankins that staked the Twins to a 4-2 lead.
