Rodríguez Excels, But Twins Win
The Minnesota (DSL) Twins and Texas 2 (DSL) Rangers 2 completed their game despite the rain.

Texas 2 (DSL) got a terrific game from right fielder Jesús Rodríguez. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Minnesota (DSL), 11-8. Rodríguez went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The triumph puts Minnesota (DSL) at 23-10 for the season.

Raúl Molina had a big grand slam home run for the Twins in the bottom of the third inning. With Minnesota (DSL) trailing 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from José Hernández and swatted a home run to left. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 5-4.

"Big team win," Molina said later.
